Prerequisite for the exam in Computer Science
LUISS University offers students the opportunity to participate in a multimedia course on basic computer skills, increasingly more important in order to join the workforce. In order to evaluate skills, standardized testing has become more popular.
In particular, all the students:
- of the Bachelor degree in Economia e Management, enrolled starting from the 2016/17 academic year, who must take the "Informatica" exam in the second semester of the first year
- of the Bachelor's degree in Management and Computer Science, enrolled up to the academic year 2019/20, who must take the Introduction to Computer Programming exam in the first semester of the first year
- of the Bachelor's degree in Management and Computer Science, enrolled starting from the academic year 2020/21, who must take the Databases & Big Data exam in the first semester of the second year
They will have to take first an “Evaluation test of Digital Skills”, that must be passed before sitting the exam.
It will be possible to sit this test online within the sessions organized by the Test Center Luiss, held every Friday.
In order to book the evaluation test, students should access the Luiss Learn platform and select Test Friday - Prenotazioni/Reservations, available under the “Test Center” section, and then follow the given instructions.

Please note that having obtained the European licenses ECDL, ICDL or other similar certifications (EIPASS, PEKIT etc) will NOT be considered as an exemption from taking the evaluation test.
