Economia and Management

L-18 Scienze dell'economia e della gestione aziendale

Graduates in the Degree in Economics and Management obtain a solid general basic training in economic, business, legal and quantitative disciplines, as well as good methodological training for the analysis and critical interpretation of economic and business dynamics. They will understand its operational and economic-financial profile and acquire the useful tools for the formulation, implementation and control of decisions.

The course is characterized by the search for an effective balance between the many basic methodological tools needed and the possibility, starting from the third year, to carve out a curricular path in which to start acquiring specialist and professionalizing elements.

The designed degree course ensures constant attention to the development of solid basic skills with reference to economic analysis, quantitative tools and legal knowledge. Finally, knowledge of the economic, financial and corporate disciplines is contextualized both in the functional dimension (administration and control, marketing, business management, organization), and in the sectoral dimension (industrial, service, commercial, companies and public administrations). The study plan is compatible with the need to encourage entry into the labor market, providing for professional teaching and seminar or internship activities in the teaching system, and the obligation to insert a choice course in English. All this is consistent with the proposed subdivision of the Scientific Disciplinary Sectors both in the economy and in the business economy. The organization of the degree course is also oriented towards the continuation of studies in the master's degree courses in the "Economic-business sciences" class or in the "Economic sciences" class.
