Management
The LUISS Master in Management (MiM) program offers talented graduates the opportunity to develop the skills and mindset for an international career.
The MiM is a two-year, full-time program that combines academic excellence, a central location, and superb networking prospects to help graduates kick start their international careers as managers, finance executives, entrepreneurs, and business consultants. Using an innovative learning approach that balances academic rigor with managerial relevance, the MiM curriculum consists of core courses that advance students’ knowledge in the functional areas of management and elective courses that offer specialized knowledge and real-life examples in the areas of Corporate Finance; Luxury, Fashion, and the Creative Industries; Innovation and Entrepreneurship; and International Management.
The MiM program encourages students to experience other cultures through Double Degree Programs with LUISS partner institutions: Fudan School of Management, Shanghai, China (all majors); European Business School, Rheingau-Wiesbaden, Germany (all majors); Universidade Nova, Lisbon, Portugal (major in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Corporate Finance or International Management); Cass Business School, City University, London, UK (major in Corporate Finance); and SKEMA Business School, Sophia Antipolis, France (major in Luxury, Fashion and the Creative Industries).
MiM students have also the opportunity to participate in the prestigious Quantitative Techniques for Economics and Management program (QTEM) – an exclusive network of 13 world-class universities and leading multinational organizations that aims to forge a link between academia and industry. With the QTEM program, students spend one academic year in two partner institutions to experience other foreign cultures and perspectives while earning a supranational degree certification.
In addition to the Double Degree programs and QTEM, the MiM program offers a broad selection of exchange opportunities with over 80 academic partnerships.
The MiM’s learning approach is truly innovative. Drawing on unrivalled corporate connections via Confindustria – the largest Italian industrial association – the MiM program combines academic and practice-oriented lectures, with workshops and live case studies. The MiM’s faculty consists of world-class academic scholars practicing research in specialized subjects and a highly select group of industry experts and corporate executives. This combination balances and blends theoretical understanding with deep analytical skills and practical experience.
The MiM is designed to train well-rounded managers: soft skills are included throughout the MiM’s program to develop students’ relational and intercultural skills; hard skills are completed and sharpened through individual and group project work and the drafting of the master’s thesis.
Employment and professional opportunities for graduates
Graduates of master's degree programs in this degree class can occupy positions of responsibility in the economic and financial system, merchant banks, money management firms, banks and other financial institutions, international organizations and supervisory authorities, international firms, multinational companies, and consulting firms.
