Bio

Dr. Lucia Pierini is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at LUISS Guido Carli University. Prior to joining LUISS, between 2018 and 2022 she was a Lecturer of Accounting at China Europe International Business School.

Dr. Pierini received her Ph.D. at LUISS in Management, concentration Accounting. She was visiting Visiting Research Student at London School of Economics, Department of Accounting, in 2018, and Visiting Scholar (PhD level) at New York University’s Stern School of Business, Department of Accounting, in 2015.

Dr. Pierini’s primary research interests lie in the area of Financial Reporting, Intangibles Assets, Merger & Acquisition, Family Business, and Corporate Disclosure.

Before joining academy, she worked at Deloitte & Touche as analyst for the line Finance and Risk, and at BVLGARI at the Planning and Control Department. She is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Auditor.
