CSR is an important element in the business world. A practice in continuous evolution on a global level, CSR involves for-profit companies, non-profits, institutions and universities. This series of seminars introduces students to Corporate Social Responsibility to prepare for the future job market which will require managers who are prepared on topics such as ethics, sustainability, environmental issues and employee care. The final project is a case study on LUISS University.
The seminars are divided into two sections:
- Two introductory sessions:
- What is CSR: definition, depth and data.
- Comunicating CSR:
- Good and bad news
- External communication
- Media relations
- Auditing: storytelling and CSR
- The history of CSR communication
- The third mission of the university
The program will conclude with a group project. Students will begin their projects after the third lesson.
The course runs for a total of 40 hours. In order to receive credit, students must participate in70% of the lessons, or 28 hours, and have obtained a positive evaluation of their final project.
